Solomar natural raw wool on the loom

My craft, my intimate world.

My name is Marianna, and I am a multidisciplinary designer. I previously worked as a product and graphic designer, primarily in the digital space, where my work was fast-paced, precise, and screen-bound. But when I became a mother, everything shifted. One afternoon, I realized how deeply I craved texture, warmth—the feeling of creation unfolding in my own hands. This longing pulled me toward something tangible—natural and raw materials that carry weight, texture, and history.

I create instinctively, letting tradition flow through my hands and transform into something deeply personal and contemporary. Working with textiles and ceramics, I don’t follow rigid rules—I embrace spontaneity, allowing each stitch and each touch of clay to tell a story that is uniquely mine. The clay remembers the press of my fingers; the thread holds the tension of movement. Each piece is a dialogue between past and present, between control and surrender.

For me, tradition is not something to be preserved unchanged—it is alive, breathing, evolving. I reinterpret old techniques, blending them with my own experiences and emotions, shaping them into forms that feel both familiar and new.

My process is free, intuitive, deeply connected to the present moment. I don't seek perfection; I seek expression. Growth, to me, is not about refinement or expansion—it’s about curiosity. It's the thrill of experimentation, the quiet transformation that happens when your hands truly connect with the material. It's the act of letting go just enough to allow creativity to take its own course.

Have you ever felt something transform in your hands? A lump of clay, a stretch of fabric, a simple idea that suddenly takes shape? That’s where my art lives—in that delicate space between instinct and intention, tradition and individuality. Step into my world. I´m happy you´re here.
